Dear Stko
Question1:
Can i use asd absorbing boundary condition around the saturated soil?
How can i free or fix water pressure degree of freedom?
Question2:
Can i define asd absorbing boundary conditions only on vertical boundary?
I want to model bedrock on the horizintal boundary.
Thanks

Yes
How can i free or fix water pressure degree of freedom?
As usual. select the portion of the interior domain where you want to fix that DOF
Can i define asd absorbing boundary conditions only on vertical boundary?
I want to model bedrock on the horizintal boundary.
Yes

Dear STKO
Thank you for your reply.
I used ASD absorbing boundary conditions at the base of the plastic soil media. I imposed a velocity Ricker wavelet (related to the acceleration record with a maximum acceleration of 1g ).
when I record acceleration in the node on the base element(on the B(bottom ASD absorbing element)) the PGA is less than 1g.
Is the ASD absorbing boundary(B-element) damp and deamplify motion? I must enhance the velocity record?
Thank you.

Thank you for your reply.
Actually, I've developed my model directly in Tcl envinroment scripting.

It should be the same assuming the G and rho in the absorbing boundary match the material properties in the inner portion of the model

Dear stko
Thank you for your reply.
I attached two picture of my model.
In 2D and saturated media i used:
Element:quad up
Material:PDMY
And asd absorbing boundary.
finally i want to define block deep soil in my models.
Acoording to pictures have i defined boundary condition correctly in undrained domain?
Thanks

It seems fine.
Do this: try to use a simple Elastic Material and see if you obtain the expected results.
