Dear STKO team,
I am trying to model a standard concrete cylinder. I noticed that I can only generate tetra mesh not hexa mesh due to the geometry limitation. Also I looked the following post (see the link) about the same issue (you have a hole in the cylinder in the middle so that you can generate hexa mesh).

I am still no able to generate hexa mesh in my model after I looked all the posts about the cylinder mesh. I have attached my model in this post. If you can help me with this I will be very thankful.
Best,
Lin Sun

Re: Try to mesh cylinder into hexa not tetra
Dear STKO team,
I have figured out how to mesh a cylinder with hexa type mesh. I have uploaded my model with hexa mesh in this post in case other people may find it useful.

Great!
However, you can improve it. The way you did it makes the elements near the corner, almost singular (their jacobian at that point is close to 0):
A better approach is to:

A better approach is to:
- draw a circle with the second point at 45 deg
- draw an X and a Square
- merge everything
- in sub-selection mode, remove the inner X
- make Planar faces
