DamageTC3D

Dear STKO Team,

I have a question about the calibration of the constitutive model of DamageTC3D. I have read the following paper "Micro-scale continuous and discrete numerical models for nonlinear analysis of masonry shear walls" in which this constitutive material model was described. I run a sequential time history analysis for a masonry wall and I have been trying to calibrate the numerical model against the experimental results (Please find the graphs for the comparison between the experiment and the numerical model). The govern failure mechanism is rocking behavior. However, regarding the numerical model, the wall is in the elastic deformation stage; while the experimental result shows nonlinear behavior. I have used a higher strength for the brick because I don't expect any damage. Regarding the mortar parameters, I took the values from the experimental campaign.

I would like to ask you If you could help me to understand better the DamageTC3D material so that I will be able to capture the experimental results correctly.

Thank you in advance.

You should post the experimental references (materials, test setup) to understand if there is some material parameters that needs to be adjusted
