Dear STKO team:
How to deal with the error about "unable to open the file"

You have asterisk (*) character on your result file name. Windows does not support that so OpenSees fails to create the result file.

The modified model is not convergency

, although I follow the successful example of shear wall. Can you let it running successfully? This is the modifiled model

I rebuild and simply the model, but it does not run successfully.

There were some mistakes with the material parameters.
More specifically in the hysteretic material the pinching coefficients were not physical... you can use the material tester to have a look.

here's a working file. Look at the material parameters for both steel and concrete to see the differences

Thank you for your reply.
The pinching coefficients of hysteretic material in my model of parameter analysis is based on the model valatied by test.
This is the model valatied by the test and result is good compared with test data

. The model can run successfully. And I should ganrantee the pinching coefficients are same in both models (parameter analysis and test).
And I do not understand the model convergency is related to the pinching coefficients.

I'm not saying the convergence issue is related to those parameters. I just noticed that you assigned strange pinching coefficients for a steel rebars. Are you sure the rebars have this huge pinching?

I also changed the plastic damage factors, typically concrete shows more plastic strains in compression.

Thank you for your reminding. I’m sure it, because the rebar replace the steel plate in the test, the steel plate has the huge pinching due to the huge deformation.
