time of maximum principal stress by a nonlinear time history analysis

Post by bruznunez » Fri Apr 11, 2025 2:41 pm

Dear community,

I performed a time history analysis of a masonry building with the ASDConcrete3D material to capture the nonlinear response. Now I am exporting the results for further processing, but I have a question about how to configure the menu to extract the maximum principal stresses of a given area of the structure throughout the time step of the seismic record.

Depending on the model type (solid or shell) use a gauss plot or a fiber plot.
Select the gauss points or fibers to export the data.
Extract Chart Data -> select gauss or fibers (depending on your model type) -> choose stress an Principal Max component
