Re: DamageTC3D

Hello,

Although I can successfully run the model prepared by STKO, I can not obtain the cracked shape as shown in RAND_MAT_2.png in this web page (see Deformed.png).

How can I see the cracked shape?

P.S. I do not know whether to be used any external any phyton file or not.

Re: Openseesmp and Design-Safe Plaform

Hello,

Since I can not receive any reply, I wrote "https://www.designsafe-ci.org/". They suggest me to contact with you in order to control against any incompatibility for the current version of OpenseesMP (v3.7.0) which is currently embedded in the platform of Designsafe.

When I check the ...

Re: Openseesmp and Design-Safe Plaform

Hello,

I carefully consider your webinar material. I found some traces in the past events of DesignSafe. However, at the current time, it contains only OpenseesMP and OpenseesSP in its digital platform.

In this regrad, I try to run my simple Opensees codes which are obtained in way of being ...

running Openseesmp under "DOS Command System"

Hello,

I strive to use the generated STKO files directly for Openseesmp under under "DOS Coomand System", not STKO enviroment.

For this purpose
I copied the all the generated STKO files into the directory "C:\OpenSees-Solvers"
Then, I activated the "DOS Coomand System" . The following outcomes ...

Openseesmp and Design-Safe Plaform

Hello,

I wonder whether the tcl files (including main.tcl) genareted by STKO program can run under Openseesmp program located at the Design-Safe Plaform or not.

Because, as it is known, Openseesmp program located at the Design-Safe Plaform only runs for the linux system.

I can not completely ...

Re: Meshing Problem 2 (!!URGENT!!)

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I am really sorry for my delayed reply.

I try to re-model this simple system considering your advices which was mentioned in both current post and the previous one (see cantilever_I_beam_BilinIMK_Solid_new.rar). In this new model, firstly, the solids elements are ...

Meshing Problem 2 (!!URGENT!!)

Hello,

This post is my second one. In fact, it is one of the trials for the analysis a simple w-shapeed profile using "solid element". At this time, I utlize the partition command in order to merge the flange and web parts (see cantilever_I_beam_BilinIMK_Solid_2.rar). The main reason behind this is ...

Re: meshing problem

I would like also to add an another important detail about the meshing of this W shaped steel profile:

In fact, there does not exist any meshing problem before using the command "union" (see _cantilever_I_beam_Solid_RegularMeshing.png)

But after using the command "union", then , the meshing does ...
