Re: ASDConcrete3D error - potential bug

Dear STKO team,
I have installed STKO 3.3.0 and I am trying to use ASDConcrete3D; however, when I try to test the material I obtained the following error:

Error:

Incorrect results with 3D elements using damaged-based model

Dear,

Thank you for your previous help.

I been successfully using the damaged-based model to characterize micro-models of masonry in plane stress conditions. However, now I need to model and adobe RVE using 3D elements with the damaged-based model. The analysis runs; however, the results are ...

Re: How to consider the rotational mass in linear elastic static analysis?

Dear Francesca,

I have another question, I am using the OrthotropicMaterial mapper and I what to know if the requested properties are in Local or Global coordinates.

Thank you very much for your answer,

Hernan

Re: How to consider the rotational mass in linear elastic static analysis?

That is the model with simple interactions with no problem. The previous model I sent you, has the convergence problem.

Re: How to consider the rotational mass in linear elastic static analysis?

Dear Francesca, thank you for your help.
The columns in reality are built as shown in the attached picture.
I am trying to capture the interaction between masonry and confining concrete columns. I did as you recommended and verified that the columns represented by linear elements are connected with ...

Re: How to consider the rotational mass in linear elastic static analysis?

Thank you Francesca.

I will do as you say as for the drawing of the columns. Regarding the singularities, how can I check this?

In addition, I modified the model by changing the previous interactions by equal DOF constraints and the analysis was smooth with no convergence problems.

Best regards ...
