Hi STKO Team,

I'm modelling an intermodular connections of a modular steel building using twoNodeLink elements. The material should be high compressive resistance to support the self weight and low tensile resistance. I'm applying MinMax material to get the tensile failure of the element. What could be the most suitable material to assign for the link element before failure? (I should define the high compressive stiffness and low tensile stiffness)

There are many uniaxial material models in OpenSees.
What kind of behavior are you trying to replicate?
Can you show a sketch of it?
