Convergence Problem

Hello,
I am a masters student working on SSI for OWT monopile. I am having problem with convergence. I have tried different meshing and analysis command. I think the problem might be from how I created the geometry for the soil domain; Points - Lines - Top surface - Merge top surface - Extrude top surface to create soil layers. I would like clarification on how to create the geometry. Can the geometry have an effect on convergence. I wanted to attach my model but the file extension is not supported.
