Node can not be found due to partition

Post by BuuNguyen » Fri Feb 07, 2025 10:49 am

Hi STKO support,

I am modeling dynamic problem with tied boundary condition (nodes with same elevation share the same DOF).

However, I am using partition to run parallel, which results in an error of non-finding node.
For example, in the attached files, if I partition into 2 parts --> it run well, but 5 partition --> get error.

Can you have a look at my attached model and give me a solution?

Thank you for your support.

We fixed this bug for the next version.
In the meantime replace this (unzip it) Python file in C:\Program FIles\STKO\external_solvers\opensees
mpc_solver_write_input.zip
