I am running a transient simulation of a monopile embedded in soil, subjected to monotonic loading at a constant rate, with soil permeability ranging from 1E-1 to 1E-12 m/s. I am currently using the analysis objects:

I am encountering difficulties with pile installation, particularly because I have to use very small time steps for it to work, and in some cases, it is unable to converge. Additionally, there are convergence issues during the loading analysis as well. I would like to explore the option of using an explicit approach rather than an implicit one, as mentioned above.
I am curious: if I use an explicit integrator scheme, such as explicitdifference, do my algorithm options also need to be explicit?
Could you recommend some analysis object options for an explicit approach as a starting point? What explicit analysis objects would you suggest I try?

That's a quasi-static analysis. In this case it's very hard to use explicit dynamics (it's meant to be used with fast dynamics), because the time step should be very small (order of micro-seconds).I am encountering difficulties with pile installation,
