Dear STKO
I hope this message finds you well. I am currently working on a project where I need to model a profile consisting of three soil layers with a foundation beam subjected to a sinusoidal load. For the first clay layer, I plan to use the PM4Silt model.
Could you kindly provide me with a guide or any recommendations on how to develop this model effectively? Specifically, I am interested in analyzing the stress-strain behavior and the degradation of stiffness at different depths.
I appreciate your assistance and look forward to your response.

Look at our webinars about soil modeling, for example where we use the absorbing boundary conditions.
In that webinar we use a single layer and a linear material.
I would suggest to start with that, then make multiple layers with different elastic materials.
In this case the absorbing boundaries at the vertical sides should match the material properties of the associated layer (so you may need to create 1 absorbing boundary material for each layer).
When your elastic model works, try to move to a nonlinear material
