Dear stko team
I am trying to model a centrifugal test.
this consists of a box with soil which is made to rotate
to model this it is necessary to fix the nodes at the base and sides of the model, as well as apply the force of the water on the surface.
I am doing the simulation with SSPquadUP elements and PM4Sand material, I have included all the steps in the analysis based on simulations that other authors have done, but when running the model the following error appears with respect to the nodes and elements.
What happens that the analysis cannot be performed ?
invalid type of element - model can't run

Re: invalid type of element - model can't run
The error is clear: You're using an Element Property that requires a 4-node quad mesh, but you assigned it to another mesh type.
If you right-click on the Element Property and click Select, you will see that you assigned it to the edges (2-node elements) instead of the face!
