Hi,

The illustration below depicts a model representing a 1m thick slice of a monopile embedded in sand. A monotonic displacement of 2.145E-3m was applied to the pile. The displacement is implemented on a single node, with all nodes in the pile domain linked to that master node (using equaldof). Stresses displayed in blue and red represent estimated stresses of the soil in the x-direction. Stresses within the soil have been verified and are confirmed to be accurate.

The soil body is modeled using the SSPbrickup element, while the pile body is modeled using the SSPbrick element.
The elastic modulus used for the soil and pile are 45e3kPa and 200E9kPa, respectively.

I am interested in understanding how to visualize the reaction stresses/forces within and throughout the pile when the displacement is loaded onto the pile.

Thank you for your help in advance!
