Absorbing boundary at only one face

Dear Team,

I have a 3D wave propagation model with internal source and I want to absorb the wave only at one face of the model. I have tried using the ASDAbsorbingBoundary3DAuto element, but apparently only works if it is assigned to the entire outer boundary of the domain. I also tried using an absorbing volume with the ASDAbsorbingBoundary3D option but it was impossible to achieve convergence. Could you give me some suggestions please ?

Thank you very much

If you only want to absorb outgoing waves coming from an internal source, you can simply use the DristributedLK3D condition.

If you share your model and a sketch of what you want to do we can help you

Thank you very much, DristributedLK3D solved the issue :P

Exactly.
The DistributedLK are just L-K dashpots, whose aim is to absorb outgoing waves.

The ASDAbsorbingBoundary instead is an assembly of a Free-field column (to impose the 1D free-field motion) and LK dashpots to absorb outgoing waves. It should be used when the input comes from outside the domain
