hello STKO team,

when i use global mesh, it shows that subtrcat is not meshed. That subtract is an extract of rectangle plane. And when i select edges in mesh controls only the rectangle edges are highlighted but not the edges of the extract. when i mesh only the bottom rectangle is meshed but not the extract. similarly if i selected faces only the rectangle face is highlighted but not the extract faces. please help me out with this.

thankyou team.

Could you share your SCD file? (zip it and attach it here)

thankyou for the reply. Iam sharing my zip file. please go through it. Once i start creating mesh, STKO is getting closed.

Dear Naresh,
You made an error in the creation of your geometry. Please go in geometry/repair fix and fix your geometry,
Attached the unstructured mesh of your model

Unfortunately, I can mesh it successfully... So I don't know how to reproduce your crash.
Are you sure STKO is crashing?
Or are you receiving an error message?

Anyways, I've seen that your mesh is with quadratic (10 nodes) tetrahedra. This is incompatible with 8-node hexa (brick UP) element you are using.
You should cut your solid geometry so that it can be meshed with QuadHexa topology and Linear order (not quadratic).

no error message. It was successful. After nodes and elements were created the stko appilication is getting closed. if i reopen the file, i couldnt find the mesh.

That's really strange because I could mesh it successfully.
Try to download the latest version 2.0.6.

If you still experience the same problem, send here the file and make sure it is the exact same file that gave you the issue.

Note: in order to have the same mesh settings, assign the mesh seed and mesh controls as you want, save the file and mesh it. It's very important that you save the file before, otherwise, after the crash I will not have your same mesh settings

Hello stko team,
Below is the file in which iam facing issue with mesh. please check it and if possible please share me the same model after it is meshed successfully.

You need to split the geometry with cuts such that it can be meshed with Hexa structured meshes.
Check how I did it.
Of course now you need to re-create the interactions, and check if some selection sets are not correct after I changed the geometry
