but the zerolength element can not connect two node who have diffenerent Dofs(3dof and 2dof)

quadup element(3dof) and elasticbeamcolumn element (2dof)
what should i do....

In STKO we automatically duplicate one of the nodes to create an auxiliary node with the correct DOFs. Then we link the two duplicated nodes in the common DOFs with an EqualDOF
