NodeCouple and NodeForce for Loads

Post by Lei Lei » Sat Mar 09, 2024 1:28 pm

Dear STKOteam,

I find there are two kinds of 'Loads.Force.' constraints, namely 'Couple' and 'Force'. So what's the difference between them?

Looking forward to your reply!

Hi, it's the same difference as the one between force and moment. Both can be applied either at poin or over edge or face or volume.

So, is the direction of the force couple determined by the right-hand rule?
