MESH ERROR SOIL DOMAIN
Re: MESH ERROR SOIL DOMAIN
Dear STKO team
Now I modeled the entire proyect, but I had some troubles.
1. First mistake the model didn´t get to run the vertical analysis of strecture and the mistake was the following it´s: ctestNormDispIncr::test() -failed to converge
I don´t know why have this problem and the model couldn´t converge.
2. I´ve changed the time step type to Adaptative time Step and I get to run the vertical analysis of structure but I had a warnings that sais: END OF INTEGRATOR :: debugInfo= 1 2 -1 -1 -1 2 0 0 21.58 1e+12
Finally the model got to finish the vertical analysis of structure
3. When the model star the transient analysis this warning appear: MCP1419::unload from plastic.
The model take so long time just for get to run 4.94% of the transient analysis (about 1 hour and 35 minutes)
Please your help
Best regards

Re: MESH ERROR SOIL DOMAIN
Those messages refer to warnings or errors in the Multiaxial Cyclic Plasticity. First make sure your model works with Elastic material (instead of the MCP). If it works without problems, use the MCP and double check (with the opensees manual) if your input parameters are correct.
Re: MESH ERROR SOIL DOMAIN
Thanks a lot
Precisely that was the problem. You are the best thanks a lot.
Maybe do you have some references/researches about how works Multiaxial cyclic plasticity?
Best regards
