Use Joint2d and Joint3d elements

Post by liyanwentj » Mon Nov 15, 2021 2:18 am

Hi,

The Joint2d element has been supported by stko. But, I have no idea how to create the geometry and assign joint2d to the beam-to-column panel zone.

Further, is it possible to implement joint3d to stko? It will be useful in the analysis of 3d structures.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards.

Actually, we have an automation that makes it easier to create Joint elements following the scissor model:
check the webinar number 10 here:

Nonlinear Analysis of an existing RC building including RC joint modeling

We did not add it because it is lacking a good documentation, however, have a look at the above webinar, it should do the same thing.
