Analisi non convergente

Post by Alexia » Thu Oct 07, 2021 1:14 pm

Salve,

Hi Alexia,

did you operate all the improvements that Dr. Petracca had suggested to you via email?
There are a lot of errors in your model, and we are unable to fix them all as it would require a lot of time. We would suggest you to study a bit more, watch my class series, especially on Mesh and Conditions, and Geometry especially!

Also, check your units, everything needs to be consistent.
Good luck with your model.

Salve,

Hello Alexia,

The model runs fine; however, I think there are still some units discrepancies in your model. Moreover, I would recommend you to change to a Panalty Handler (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsgcSR4jj4Q&t=2065s, viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2074&p=4280&hilit= ... dler#p4280, and check some of the webinars mentioned by marafini.f.

In addition, as you have some mp.constraints, when you run the eigenanalysis, it will have by default a "handler constraints" and you will see a warning in the analysis. You could uncheck the wipeAnalysis of the previous static analysis to keep the same setup or change the parameters by adding a pre-analysis with 0 steps (as shown in the shared link).

To save the mode of vibrations of the model, check them in the recorder settings and if you want to have the eigen analysis after the static analysis, you need to add a customCommand after the eigen analysis setup with the word "record" (viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2094&p=4359&hilit= ... ysis#p4359).

You also could wrap all of the Patter.constraints into a single one.
Regards,
Luis
