I’m trying to extract the soil stresses so I can plot them, but I’m not able to.
Here is my model — it runs correctly, but I can only plot the displacements.

ask for material.stress and/or material.strain in the element results in the MPCO Recorder

Is it also possible to plot the stresses and/or strains in the same way as the displacements from the MPCO Recorder results?

Sure, stress (or any other result defined in Gauss Points) can be visualized:

1. With gauss plot: In this case the result will be exactly the one on the gauss (integration) point as computed by OpenSees
2. With surface color map: in this case the result will be extrapolated from gauss points to nodes
