OpenSees Solver 3.7.2

Post by Zouatine » Thu Sep 18, 2025 9:02 am

Dear Stko Team ,

I wanted to kindly ask about your thoughts for the following issue.

I have downloaded the new OpenSeesSolver (Version 3.7.2) from the website :

https://www.researchgate.net/publicatio ... r_OpenSees

I have created a simple model for 3D analysis soil, when i run it with the opnseesmp 3.4.0 (old file) it work fine , but i use the opensees solver for parallel analysis from 3.7.2 , i end to the following error:

I tried several other models which were running correctly in the old solver but with new solver i am having the above issue.

Thank you

Can you share the STKO model?
Without further information it's hard to tell

Both analyses are running on my side.
Do you have the same issue also with other models using openseesmp from the new version?

If the issue is with the new installation and for all opensees models, it means there is something wrong with your opensees installation.
How did you install the new version?
Are you sure your firewall and/or antivirus is blocking the mpiexec executable in your OpenSees installation directory (C:\OpenSees-Solvers\oneapi)?
