Hi STKO team,
I have performed a dynamic analysis of a building. When I animate the results in the post processor, the ground is moving and the results are not showing the displacement of the roof relative to the base. Is there a way to fix the ground and get the relative displacement of the ...

Material for Steel
Hi STKO Team,
I'm modelling an intermodular connections of a modular steel building using twoNodeLink elements. The material should be high compressive resistance to support the self weight and low tensile resistance. I'm applying MinMax material to get the tensile failure of the element. What ...

Error cannot find "option" attribute
Dear Team,
I have modeled a simple modular building using forcebeamcolumn element and intermodular connections with link elements. When I run the analysis it gives the following error. The error message and the building model is attached herewith. What could be the reason for that?
Thank you.

Mesh Error
Dear Team,
I have modeled a fully modular steel building and used 2 node link elements yo model inter-modular connections. When I run the analysis it gives an error message saying there are 4 nodes in the 2 node element and wrong mesh type assigned. I have only applied global mesh with division 1 ...

Mass Assignment to Elements
Can we apply the mass as a volume to elements when performing dynamic analysis? After applying the mass do we need to define an analysis step specifically for mass to be activated?

Re: HDF5 mismatch issue
I changed the environmental variable to 1 and now the program works. I hope that doesn’t affect the results.

Re: HDF5 mismatch issue
Dear Team,
In the latest OpenSees version (3.7.2) it doesn’t contain the HDF5 library. Thats the main issue I had to use the OpenSees 3.4 version.

HDF5 mismatch issue
When I tried to run the analysis, in the cmd it says, version mismatch is there with the HDF5. It suggests a method to overcome the issue but it doesn't work. A screenshot is attached for more details. How to overcome this issue?
