Re: More analysis with a single model
ok maybe I did. In the custom command after the RESET I entered the REMOVE LOAD PATTERN command and I removed the vertical load of the first analysis.

Re: More analysis with a single model
ok thx.. but this works only with horizontal analysis, not with vertical analysis. At the end of the stage 1 the Rfz is 100000 and at the end of the stage 3 is 300000. Because the results of the two vertical load conditions are added together. I, on the other hand, would like to have Rfz: 100000 at ...

More analysis with a single model
Hi,
I should perform a static analysis with a variable load. Example: first analysis with 10kN load, second analysis with 15kN load etc. The position of the load is always the same.
How can I do without having to use different models several times? I tried to use the LoadCost command and create ...

Re: Moment release at end beam
OK ... so basically we have to use a zero length and not check the box in the direction we want the release. In my case dir4 / 5/6. While in the other directions I enter the material of my element. In my case it is a steel beam and I plugged in my Steel01. But a question: assigning to dir3 (in my ...

Moment release at end beam
Hello to all,
can you tell me how to insert a moment release at the end of a beam? I have a continuous beam on several supports (the supports are other underlying beams) and I would like to insert a release at a support so as not to transmit moment. How can I do in OpenSees / STKO ?? Thanks.

Re: TwoNodeLink VS ZeroLength element
The main difference between ZeroLength and TwoNodeLink is that the former does not couple translational and rotational DOFs despite of the distance between master and slave nodes. The latter instead couples translational and rotational DOFs if there is a distance between the master and slave nodes ...

Re: Interaction between concrete and rebar
OK thanks. However, using the BeamSolidCoupling I can model the interaction between a beam element and the face of a solid. If I understand correctly, with the beam element perpendicular to the face of the solid. But if instead I wanted to model the interaction between beam elements parallel to a ...

Interaction between concrete and rebar
Hi,
in stko \ opensees is there a way to model a concrete shell element and separate reinforcing bars with beam elements and then connect them together making them interact?
For example, inserting a beam element with nodes shared with the shell element and using a beam offset?
Or using a node-to ...

Material property curve export\import
Hi, is there a way to export the material curves from STKO, as we see them in the TEST phase? In order to be able to reconstruct them externally in excel.
Or similarly, is there a way to insert a material curves into STKO based on points entered by the user?
Thanks
