Re: Concrete 02 input data

Lambda is a ratio. So how to calculate it. Many are using 0.1. But how we got 0.1.

Re: Concrete 02 input data

As can be understood from the Video and Presentation, lambda = ratio between unloading slope at epscU and initial slope at epsc0 = (2*fpcU/epscU)/(2*fpc/epsc0) .......... Eq.1

or lambda = (fpcU/epscU)/(2*fpc/epsc0).......... Eq.2

Which Equation is correct ?

And it can vary from 0.05 to 0.2.

Re: How to make Shear Failure Model ?

So this excel file that you posted can be used for calculating the parameters of ModiMKPinching for the Shear failure model (RC Short Column) like theta_p, theta_pc etc. ?

Also, instead of Ko evaluated in this excel file, we replace it with K.Regularized and use it as Ko.?

Re: Moment-Rotation Relationship

Dear STKO Team,

I would be happy if you can elaborate your reply in little detail. Because in such short lines, it is difficult to understand what you are suggesting with respect to the question asked,

Thanks in advance.

Re: Time History Analysis

Didn't found anything in the literature. In other software like ETAB and SAP2000, direct option is there to select Linear or Non-linear analysis. But in STKO, I don't find this option. Actually I need to compare the results of the Linear and Non-Linear Time history analysis. So I need to do both ...

Re: Time History Analysis

Can we do Linear Time History Analysis using ForceBeamColumn Elements with Concrete02 and Steel02 uniaxial materials.?

What differ Linear and Non-linear Time History analysis in OpenSees STKO ?

Is Elastic section and fibre section makes the difference ???

Re: How to make Shear Failure Model ?

With the new periods, the building response will change.
In one of the excel to calculate the parameters of ModiMKPinching that is provided by you, there is the value with the name K,Regularised which is 100 times Ko. What is the use of this value and when to use it.

Re: Moment-Rotation Relationship

Dear STKO Team,
In this post only, you have posted a zip file containing excel for calculating ModiMKPinching parameters.

I have used it to determine the most of the parameters for my shear failure model of columns. But What is the value of Ko shall I consider ? In the excel, KRegularised is also ...
