Dear all,
I was analyzing a 2D frame model with lumped zero length at beam and columns. Watching the tutorials I have realized that the rotation can be seen at Material Strain/S23 for each node. The moment can be seen at Material Stress/S23.
I would like to extract the results at each lumped hinge ...

Re: Definition of Elastic Material
Hi, I was mentioning in another topic that the E in cae of lumped plasticity has to be defined twice, one for the elastic material and another for the hinge. In this last case, the E needs to be stiff enough in order not to add deformation due to the hinge.

Re: How to use Physical Properties for BeamColumn element
Hi, I believe you add a rigid material (great E) because it is related to the hinge and not to the elastic element.

Hello,
I hope you can guide me with this question. What is the difference between E of a Material Uniaxial Elastic and Section Elastci. According to your tutorials I see that in the second one the E is the elastic modulus of concrete, however the E in the first one is 100 times greater than the ...

Re: Plastic Hinges
I am analyzing a pushover analysis of a 2d frame (3 stories). We have already put the option to see the gauss points at the output.
My question is regarding to visualization of the curvature or rotation. I am using plastic hinges where I enter data of Moment vs Rotation according to Lignos and ...
